The Nelson's Fairway Ranch, located in Texas near Dallas, currently sits on over 500 acres. Mr. Nelson and Eddie Baggs were partners in the cattle business. Mr. Baggs registered the B (rocking B) as a means of permantly identifying the cattle of Fairway Ranch.

"Mr. Nelson and I could have run a lot more cattle than we did, but Mr. Nelson believed strongly in conservation and not overgrazing the land, we always gave the land a chance to renew itself naturally," said Mr. Baggs.

We've taken the Rocking B and combined it with Mr. Nelson's laurel champions wreath to form the Byron Nelson signature crest, linking together a few of his life's accomplishments.

"I have always wanted a farm where I could raise white face cattle. Now I have it, I am happy".
